1991 Suzuki DT 30 "Surging"

My 1991 Suzuki DT 30 starts great, idles great, never stalls or quits. However at full throttle it "surges". It may do this after 10 minutes of full throttle or after an hour...... it comes and goes randomly. Any one have some advice????

mine use to do the same ..... but unless you have converted it for racing you should not go full throttle for longer than a minute at a time ...... but to fix the problem ... change spark plugs, thermostat, and run a fuel system cleaner in your tank .....
