Yes... Oil sensor issue (I believe) (intermittent beep)
I replaced the float sensor and it still beeps, but if I short the sensor out (i.e. put in pigtail bypassing sensor and short to ground (motor)) the beeping stops.
I checked the new and old sensor by moving the float up and down on each while checking continuity. If the float is down I get continuity, which implies if the reservoir ran out of fluid, the beeping would stop?!?! Also, it implies that the magnet is still on the old sensor (but it seemed very gummy moving up and down).
If you disconnect the sensor, should the beeping stop? Is so, any idea what the problem might be?
