1992 18' Four Winns with 2.3L OMC IO

Looking at a '92 Four Winns with 2.3 L Ford engine with OMC IO drive. What should I beware of? Is this going to have about the same power as a 3.0L Mercruiser? Talk to me. It seems like a nice boat. But i'm unfamiliar with that engine. I had an OMC once that was OK.

RUN!!!!! Far and fast.
Manifolds are as rare as chickens teeth.
One guy was selling one for $1000 it was used.
The other parts are getting hard to get too.
