Switchbox may have a short to ground.

Stator may not be creating enough voltage and drops off.

You will need a DVA tester to find the leak of voltage.

Have you done a compression test? That is the first thing you do when evaluating a problem.Do that and get back to us.J

well i tested the stator all tested 1200 ohms good tested the trigger all tested around 1300 ohms also good, d/sided 2 test it while running it will run just wont smooth out ,backfires and no high rpm's, so anyway the blk/wt wire from the trigger i accidently touched the test lead 2 it and ground and smoothed out, is it possible its needs an external ground from that wire ? by the way jerry the compress. was good ,ow i'm up the road from u in palm bay/malabar.
