Also are the 2000 year motors as good as the 93's? I didnt know how much change was done by 2000 besides the looks..I have anyone has any input that would be great.

Both motors are within 10lbs of each other and you will need a adapter harness(part# 176349) The 2000 60? 150 is a good engine.

Will I see/feel a good difference in the swap? The 120 runs great, I Just want some more power, and a 150 is the max for the boat.

Thanks for the help with the adapter.

Also The owner wants around $3000.00 for the motor.I thought that was a good price. Any idea what I can sell my 93 120hp for?
Thanks

You will see a big difference thru all the rpm ranges. If your 120 has the "big" gearcase on it the gear ratio is different and you may need to play with prop pitches but if it has the standard V-4 housing you will need a different prop as the 150 can swing a bigger diameter prop..

I have a 2000 ocean pro 150 hp which replaced a 1979 evinrude 200 hp; I can tell you that the 150 is as good as the 200 hp with respect to power and speed. If you have good compression on the newer engine, you will be pleased with it. Good luck

Thanks for the advise guys..Now i just need to find out what I can sell my 120hp for..Cant seem to find a used one for sale anywhere.

Got the weights on NADA. I dont think they are to close with the price of motors though. They seem to be really low on all the motors.

Does this harness go inside the motor where the harness clips in?

Bought the motor today..The compression on all 6 was 106-110. Hopefully that is some good numbers.Motor is super clean. Very excited to see how she runs with this beast!!
