1993 Yamaha 85hp

Have replaced tilt and trim motor but will only tilt up not down. Reversed wires then would trim down but not up. Not sure what the part name is that we need to order that would fix the problem. Can anyone help with the name of the part?

its called a trim relay, however if you just like supporting your local dealer you can replace the trim switch, the ign swicth and the battery.
or you can actually buy a manual and ask some questions.
