I have checked cutoff and on/off switch and cleaned all connections. The motor ran fine for hours and then up and quit with no spark on either cylinders.

Hi there,

One of the 'known' faults with these engines is that the stop switch in the end of the tiller handle gets wet and shuts down the ignition. Are you getting electric shocks off the tiller handle? (a usual sign, but not always)

Chris.......

hi
I checked the all switches and I'm not getting a shock. I beginning to think it is either the ignition module or pickup coil but I'm not sure how to test these.

You'll have 2 wires coming from the stop switches. One pair from the switch in the end of the tiller handle and one pair from the cowl mounted switch. Each pair is one black, which is connected to the engine block, and one black with a yellow stripe, which go up to the power pack. Disconnect the black/yellow wires from the pack and see if you have spark.

The shock it from the tiller handle stop switch and will only happen when the handle is wet.

Chris........

Change your spark plugs bro or it could be your power pack if you have one
