1994 Volvo-Penta SX out drive

I am installing a prop for my buddy on his volvo-penta SX outdrive. Currently he is running a hustler prop and bought a stiletto sst prop. <br /><br />My question is; is there a hardware / installation kit that should have been ordered with the prop? I cant install it using the same hardware that the hustler prop uses?

Thrust washer??? How many splines does the new prop have??

The number of splines are the same, it slides right on no problem. it has the thrust washer on the back side but the splines protrude farther out of the stilletto prop than the hustler. it looks as if it would require a spacer of some sort in order for the castle nut to be tightened.<br /><br />It also appears that the thrust washer behind the prop could be thicker in order to space the prop out a tad from the out drive housing. It appears that if i was to tighten the prop down it may rub on the housing.

The Stiletto is made to use the factory thrust washer. If the Hustler uses something different then you'll need the factory thrust washer.
