1995 3hp yamaha prop slipping?

So, I am working on a 1995 yamaha 3hp customer brought it in and said it would slip under load. The splines on the prop hub and on the shaft are fine the gears in the lower unit are fine. Today I put it on the back of a boat and when it slipped the rpms would go sky high and it would squeal, before the slipp it would run fine, but in neutral it doesn't squeal. I think its the prop but would like a second opinion.

Your prop is slipping the hub. Any prop shop can rehub it.

you can mark the hub and prop, run it, and then look to see if it has moved( miss aligned the marks)
