1995 4 cylinder Mariner thermostat.

I have looked at the drawings and at the motor but I cannot find the thermostat. Can anyone help me please?

Sorry, forgot to say it is a 40HP elpto.

I have consulted with my local Guru and he tells me that that model does not have a Thermostat.
