1995 Evinrude 130 V4 intermitent spark on one cylinder

I swapped coils with another cylinder and the intermittent loss of spark remains on the same cylinder (lower cylinder on the right side). Happens when engine is hot or cold. Also swapped plug wires and no change. I assume that a bad stator would cause problems on all cylinders. Since it's always the same cylinder, I'm thinking it's the power pack. I'm looking for a second opinion before I drop the bucks for a new power pack.
Thanks!

You're probably right but tyhere's really no way to be sure except by testing output from the powerpack or by replacing with a known good powerpack.

I don't have access to a known good power pack (unless I buy one!). Could a problem with the stator, or anything else besides the power pack, cause an intermittent loss of spark on only one cylinder? Thanks for your patience with a newby.

FYI - I put in a new power pack and it runs great now.
