This note is in reference to my last updates to previous problems with my motor cutting out at speeds of 40 to 50 mph rapid shaking and loss of speed. One thing I learned is you guys had it pegged on the numbers, and a company called fox and company in knoxville tennessee troubleshooted the motor in their tank, and found the slow mode sensor when dissconnected while the malfunction is taking place to cause all symptoms to immediatly dissappear. no more shake and happy boat owner. $9.00 part and a wife that should have no more ill feeling towards her husbands boat. concerning the first mechanic to diagnose my boat P&L marine in maynardville , tennessee. I think he needs to invest In a tank so he spends less time driving his customers boats to the lake and more time troubleshooting computer and electrical problems. with this mechanic I spent $1600 to find out a $9 part was bad.
