I just got a 1995 Merc 115 serial number 06072917.
The previous owner put a new switch box on it because he was not getting spark on the #4 cylinder. a DVA test shows #1 208v ,#2 bounces around 54V-85v , #3 207v, #4 bounces around from 11v-25v. they did the same with rectifier disconnected, kill switch wire disconnected at switch box, and connected/disconnected from the coils. switching the coils around makes no difference. DVA with the Blue and Blue/white wires is 212v. all these test are while cranking. While running at idle made no real difference in voltage readings. From what I understand if it is #1&2 cylinders or #3&4 cylinders it could indicate switch box or stator. looks like it has the red stator. I know one of you guys know exactly what I need to check. Thanks in advance for your help.
