I just got off of the phone with the previous owner of my 1995 Skeeter with a 1995 200 Vindicator on it, and I was explaining my problem to him of the warning horn sounding constantly when I start the engine. The manual says this is an indicator of overheating, but my water flow is good, and the temp of the head cover only gets to 120 degrees in the shade after 10 minutes of running.

He said that back in 2001 he had to replace the oil sensor to the warning system because of the same problem I am having other than the fact that it was a short but fast chirp as opposed to my constant 'fire alarm' sound that I am getting. He said that the manual reported that it was low on oil, but he had just filled it up. He had the sensor replaced, and everything was fine.

Do you think my problem is as simple as this?

Here is my previous post regarding the issue.
