hi i was putting away the OB in the shed and noticed the serial number is not on the transom mount but on the engine in the lower cowling near the back end stamped on a alloy disk like a frost plug, is it a frost plug? can i remove it to get the number for insurance ( never been insured lol) as i can not see it even with a mirror so i am asking what is that for? thanks
