I think I have figured out the tiny hose. Looks like it goes from top of the crankcase to the bottom.

I can't find a diagram in my manual for the ( 2 green hoses) midsized hoses. I have connect the 2 lines for the primer and the 2 lines for the fuel rail.
This motor has the vro block off.

generally a bottom to top side hose line is for recirculating accumulated fuel-oil sitting in the crankcase and it is sent up the PH for lubrification.
the crankcase vacum and pressure pulses push the oil up the hose.

see pic of old outboard model CD from the 50s

they have been around for 60 + years... till have them on modern ETECs

Thanks for the information. I posted a picture of the lines on to of the fuel primer and fuel pump area. They are high lighted green. My donor motor had them plugged off. If the VRO is disconnected can I just keep them plugged?

The green hoses come off the little " vapor separator " pump I believe.

The little square pump was first used in 1968 on the 3 hp.----It was modified to be used as a vapor extraction pump on the 60 degree motors.-----All years use the same diaphragm.----Simple easy stuff.
