Got the water pump in everything went together except I dont think I am in the right gear. Probably have to drop everything down again and start over. Any Help appreciated, to sincronize the spline.
Mr omtech, the best I can describe is the motor was in forward gear, I just pulled up the click lock, put it in forward, did not throttle forward any further past the first engagement., The upper linkage rod that slides down into the lower one may have not dropped down into the hole spline I remember wondering why it was up that high, then I moved the throttle and it may have slipped around and fell in to the spline.
Thank you all for all your help, I hope I am able to help others thru this forum. I think I have my linkage aligned, I dropped theLU a little way down and found that the little red paint marks that I put on the splines did not match. Put the lever in nuetral shifted the lower spline to neutral, they matched, slid all up again,now to test the pump. That should do it , thanks again.
