i am currently running a 3 blade stainless michigan wheel apallo prop,13.25 inch diam 19 pitch.if i am by myself i get right about 4800-4900 rpm and with me and 1 or 2 other i get right about 4500-4700.either way i get between 44-48mph gps.

my ? is im thinking about going to a 17 pitch prop, can anyone tell me what speed i can expect to get if i change to a 17 pitch?

Assuming the gps is right I don't think your rpm is accurate.Add 1000 rpm to that and you'd
be over way 50 mph ,that Landau would have to be a mighty fast boat.
Also to get to 5,500 you would need to drop to at least a 15" pitch that might get you to 5300.Before making any changes varify your tach. Also Check the motor height on the transom
The antivent plate(just above the prop) should be even with to about an inch above the bottom.

I have checked speed with several diff gps units and all r within 1 mph.i have asked several dealers and have asked on here [iboats] and everyone has told me that WOT on this motor is 4500-5000.

also just put a new reman phead on motor over the winter and took it to dealer to make sure timing was right and they said it is set at what they recamend,2 deg retarted.

antivent plate is right as far as i can tell,if i raise motor anymore i get bad cavitation no matter how i trim motor and if i go down anymore it seems like the boat drags to much.
