on several occasions this motor has failed to start, only with a warm engine., sometimes will restart after five minutes, other times after several hours. sometimes when slowing down from cruising speed, will stall and not restart. sometimes will restart only with throttle set to high rpm but will quit when throttle is pulled back to engage gears, i.e., will not run under 2500 RPM's. tachometer is erratic, sometimes reads accurately, sometimes not, sometimes, no reading at all. sometimes as I give it throttle to accelerate, motor will not go above 2500 and warning horn will sound. I have verified fuel and oil supply and replaced thermostat so it is not an oil or overheat issue. I'm assuming an ignition problem but can't verify since I can't reach the ignition switch and a spark plug wire at the same time! anybody with similar experiences with this motor?
