1996 OMC 5.0 EFi long crank when hot

I have had my 1996 Chris Craft Concept 19 with a 5.0 OMC Cobra fuel injected engine since May 2016. The last few times i've taken it out, the boat starts right up. If I shut it off and then start it within a few minutes, its fine, but if I park it for a while, say 30-90 minutes, it takes 10-20 seconds of cranking to restart. Once it starts up it runs fine. Just curious if this is an issue or a common occurrence. I've had Merc OBs most of my life and this is my first IO.

I've had this happen once on my recently acquired 1995 CC Concept 21 with the same motor and am interested in any suggestions on how to preclude this also.
