1996 Rude 112 HP

I just bought a 1996 Rude 112 HP for my 19 Ft CC. (Have to mix gas and oil) No vro..............Is this a looper or a crosflow when looking for parts.Any body know if this type is a good engine or not??? It seems to run OK...............Thanks

one of the best, what difference does it make, you use your model# when searching for parts. what do you need?

It's a crossflow. Good reliable motor with decent care. Old technology, not as fuel efficient or peppy as the newer designs but still a good motor that should serve you well. It's the same motor as the same year (or there about) 115 crossflow but without some frills like oil injection. The 115 is basically the same motor as the older, powerhead rated, 140 crossflows.
