If you can isolate the cylinder that is misfiring swap out the coil, spark plug wire and spark plug as a unit. See if it follows. <br /><br />Might want to check the hoses again, including the drain at the bottom of the lower intake manifold.

We went shrimping yesterday & the engine runs like a Swiss watch when at crusing speed nice & smooth & dosnt miss a lick. <br /><br />Its only at idle & accelerating from idle then it takes right off & runs great. The smoke problem is 90% better. Does this still sound like ignition or is it a carb problem.<br /><br />Thanks Dan

Has someone reset the carburetors? I thought that they were all fixed jets, but that the linkage might be off a little.
