This engine has probably less than 350 hours. It has been basically well maintained and unabused.<br />It has new plugs.<br />This past weekend I took it offshore and ran it at various speeds for about 10 to 12 hours. About midway through the day it developed a miss in the mid-throttle range that seemed to go away when I pushed it up to a running speed of about 3500. It would also start fine and run smooth at idle. When decelerating or running in the 1000 rpm range though, there was a persistant miss.<br />The motor has run great without problems up to now.<br />Could be fuel, I guess. The boat had been in the barn since last Sept. <br />I added 65 gal. of fresh gas on top of 40 already in the tank. Just kind of funny the miss didn't start until well underway.<br />I certainly respect the knowledge base that is available on this board, and would very much appreciate any help toward the solution.<br />I probably deserve some kind of dumbass award, but I would much rather receive it here than pay $500 for it at the shop.<br /><br />Many Thanks....kf
