Hey guys how are you. Just need a quick tip here. I know I need to remove the lower unit to get to the water pump. Any does or donts. Don't have my manual yet. Also, My trim is working on and off. Is it normal for the wires to maybe come loose in the trim motor? Some times it works some times it doesnt. Thanks again -Chris

There is a bolt hidden above the trim tab on the back of the gearcase.

Trim problems could be relays or water in the trim motor.

Hey Willy long time no see, I had to register a new name because it has been a while but anyway... where can I find those relays. I would like put new ones in anyway. I do here them clicking. I tried swapping the two around and that did not seem to help but who knows.

When you take the bolts out to remove the gearcase and it doesn't come, there might be a bolt hiding above the trim tab above the prop.

The relays are dealer items. It would be odd for both to fail simultaneously. Follow the wires from the trim motor and you'll find where they connect with big bullet connectors. Make sure they're well engaged.
