I have tracked it down to the 10 amp breaker keeps tripping. I can reset it and seconds later I will here it click/trip. All the connections are clean and tight, from the battery to the trim switch and to the relay. Can these just decide to go bad all at once? It worked two weeks ago and then yesterday during my pre-trip check it wouldnt work. This is a pic of what I have.

I have been thru this check part ways and then my voltmeter crapped out and starting acting up.

I found a new one on EBAY for $104.00 retail these are expensive $300.00. Should I replace it?

Before you spend money on a new breaker/relay box, check the wiring on the trim tilt switch. Especially where the wiring comes through the helm control and wraps around the pivot shaft. Could very well be the insulation is worn or cracked causing the wiring to short out on the housing.

Don, as embarrased as I am you were right! I tracked the the problem down to the controls, I installed new controls last summer and pinched the wires to the breaker/trim tilt.
