1997 Johnson 115 link and sync procedure

can someone explain to me how to sync the carbs to the timing advance? Maybe the whole thing set timing also?

Johnson made two distinctly different 90 hp engines that year. The last year for the old crossflow model and the newer looper 90. Completely different engines. You can take your model number to the printer that makes all the Johnson/Evinrude manuals and get a (new) specific one for your year/model: outboardbooks.com
