1997 suzuki dt150 buzzer

The engine did not have one hooked up when I bought it,so I'm trying to figure out which harness I connect it to(moniter or main)?Also the moniter guage back light lights up and stays lite while key is on while all idot lights up for a split second then goes out.Please help!

Warning alarm goes to the main harness - grey and blue wires. Just plug them in. Monitor gauge is working properly.

Thanks for info,could I use small horn or of the like ,or does it have to be a suzuki buzzer($60)?

Buy the Suzuki buzzer - it will plug right in and you know it will work properly. It will sound once as a self test when you turn the ignition on.

Ordered one today!Are these pretty good outboards? Ive always had merc's and Omc's but i'm very impressed with low end torque.Also every owner in forum's seems very happy with them.Thanks for the help lakensea !
