Installed used engine on pontoon and engine seems to run fine.goes in forward fine but has no reverse. I disconnected cable so I could shift by hand on engine and linkage moves fine . Any ideas. And also I installed it in the water and pontoon was sideways against shoreline. Water went down some and I noticed when a wave would come in the motor seemed to move internally . Could something have come unhooked ?
