This probably won't help the issue.But yes if the prop is spinning FAST and you stop it QUICK the FLYWHEEL is still spinning,and that will break a crankshaft.<br /><br />DHP
I got the boat the motor on a 1998 17' Capehorn for $3800 w/trailor. So the it wasn't a bad deal. The boat stayed in dry storage and was used regularly so the engine is very clean.
