My outboard will not turn over. Last time I was on the water I noticed my fuel guage showed empty, but was full. I turned on and off but no change.Engine stopped and would not turn over. Finally I turned the ignition and it started in neutral. In the past I could not start the engine with throttle in forward or reverse with button pushed in. When I returned home I was able to turn engine over a few times, I pushed key in to choke and now engine will not turn over. There is a clicking noise coming from the engine compartment when I try to start. The choke is also activating but the engine won't turn over.Could this be a faulty ignition switch? Or something to do with the safety switch in the throttle?
