Hi everyone,
I'm new in the boats. Last year bought for my self 23 foot Bayliner Trophy with two 1998 120 Force outboards engines.
Just tested this weekend, never have been taken to the water.
Engines runs fine and went on from first try, props are good too. But I need help with some information:
1. Fuel Mixture Ratio
Is it suppose to be 25:1(4%oil) or 50:1(2%oil)?
2. Circulating pee ejecting water.
How much water should come out from pee holes when engine is running on neutral?
In my case it was water coming out from the holes, but it wasn't hall a lot, just a little.
3. One of the engines stops running on neutral.
I don't know why. When i turning on the engine on F it starts and runs, but as soon as i put on neutral stops running.
I'm thinking it may be Carburetor Regulation. I don't know how to regulate the Carburetors.
Please, maybe somebody know other reason why it could happen?
4. I'll happy to get some advises what should i check or replace before taking boat into the water.
Thank you
