1998 Johnson 150 Ocean Runner

thinking about buying a used boat with a 1998 Johnson 150 Ocean Runner I have heard a few negative things about this engine can someone give me some advice engine has around 60 hours on it

Hi, David.<br /><br />If it is carbureted it is a fine engine made in a year that OMC quality control was awful. If it has been debugged, go for it.<br /><br />If it is a Ficht Injected engine, avoid it.<br /><br />Good luck.
