Hello all, I have a 1998 yamaha 90 hp 2 cycle 3 cylinder and it is not running as it should. I have gone over many diagnoses for it and have yet to find the problem. Here are the symptoms and things I have done......
1) Will not reach high RPM
2) Smells rich and excessive oil in exhaust
3) Has great compression
4) I rebuilt Carbs and new spark plugs
5) Will not idle and only starts if throttle is high
6) I have sparks from the plugs
7) The number 1 and 3 cylinders do not change the reaction in the engine when the boot is removed
8) And the throttle bodies are getting fuel
If anyone can help give a little advice that would be great, Thanks.
