I just changed the oil & filter on my 15 hp four stroke and put Castrol 10w30 in it. The oil I drained out looked muddy, It did show over full on the dip stick. Could I possibly have a blown HEAD gasket? Or could it be the brand of oil. The last oil change it had pennziol 10w40 put in it. I did not run the motor with the pennzoil except to test out the water pump and adust the carb a total of about 30 min. I just purchased the motor and haven"t run at the lake yet. If water is getting into the oil from a blown head gasket shouldn"t the dip stick show over full?
