1999 Yammie C150 - Carb Question

I recently did a decarb with seafoam, but motor started running rough immediately after. Couldn't get it to clear up while running out on the lake, so I'm guessing some junk broke loose and now I've got a jet plugged in one of the carbs. Spark plugs look fine and have maybe 50 hours on them. I tried spraying carb cleaner and did another dose of seafoam directly into the intakes, which helped a little, but the motor is still running rough. It idles fine, but still not running smooth when under load. I'm probably just gonna take all three carbs off for a thorough cleaning. My question is . . . do I necessarily need rebuild kits for all three carbs, or can I just pick up some new gaskets to reinstall the carbs after cleaing them?

might try draining each carb float chamber onto clean white rag to see what comes out. with float chamber plugs out pump bulb to "flush" chambers, spray carb cleaner in drain holes. may need to clean carbs anyway, but if this works, could save you some time/money. install fuel/water seperator to prevent most junk from ever reaching carbs. use Stabil Marine all the time. Thanks. So if I decide to go ahead with pulling the carbs, then pull the float bowls off for cleaning, what are the chances that the float bowl gaskets can be reused? I'm not too worried about the carb plate intake gaskets. Are there any tricks to getting the float bowl gaskets off without tearing them up? (razorblade, etc) Dealer didn't have any in stock a la carte, only had them available in the rebuild kits.

i had a 89 175,and now a 2004 150, i cleaned the carbs at least once a year, float bowl gaskets are very hardy, worth a shot, remember to clean every orfice you can, count pilot screw rotation, 1.75-2.0 revs should get you close, if you have a hydro sonic cleaner, use it ( yes i have a jewelry store) thats why i have one , good luck it is not hard ,but do not forget sync and lync ,eric
