Hey Pat would that have been the pink floyd show at county stadium? I have personally seen 100's of concerts but the first ones I went to were at Summerfest in Milwaukee and included many different bands. Mostly local but some bigger...Three Dog Night, Eddie money, many More.

I really hate to have to admitt this, but my first concert was "The Bay City Rollers", when I was 15 or so.

I think the tickets where $3 at Nassau Veterns Memorial Colusium.

I wanted to go to the Led Zepplin concert, but my Mom said NO WAY !

Loudest concert: Van Halan

Best concert: Pink Floyd...all of them, as I have gone to every Floyd concert since "Animals".

Worst Concert: Aerosmith ( I don't remember the tour, just remember that it was the biggest waste of money!! )

My first was Joe Cocker in 72 in the Jackson Colesium. I didn't really have an appreciation for Joe at the time I went with a buddy. My second concert was Little Feat when they were doing their Waiting For Columbus tour in the city auditorium in Jackson. NOW that was a conocert to remember.

First rock concert - this is funny- was in 1973 at the age of 12. Some of the sixth graders had a band and they put on a show for the school. I only went cause the girl on the keyboards was hot. She was cranking out DP Smoke on the Water when her keyboard started on fire- end of show.

First REAL rock show was Floyd, Milw, '77.

Alabama... early 80's at the WPB auditorium (distortatorium), then saw them again at the volunteer jam along with The Charlie Daniels band, and Bill Medley... Both great shows...

The Alabama show at the volunteer jam was one of the neatist experiences i've ever had... Open field, bring your own lawnchair kinda deal.... I was just a little, maybe 95 pound, squirt of a kid, 12 or 13 years old.. I'm standing right down front trying to see over the plywood fence, and doing ok but the stage was wayyyyy up there... All the sudden this huge redneck who had to be 6'5" and about 300 pounds picks me up and puts me up on his shoulders.. Front row, 6 foot up, Best seat in the house! :D Got to see about half of Alabamas set from up there... :D By far the best show I ever have been to...

Want to see The Brian Setzer Orchestra, or just plain ol Brian Setzer with his three piece band would be good too...

Steppenwolf, 1971, Vets Memorial in Columbus. Tickets cost $6.
Too many great concerts to have a favorite. Hmm, let's try to remember 'em all (in no particular order): Emerson, Lake & Palmer at Cleveland Stadium, Billy Joel (back in the early days before he got really famous), J. Geils Band, Marshall Tucker, AC/DC, Electric Light Orchestra, Paul McCartney in Cinci, The Stones in Ohio Stadium, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, James Taylor, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Crosby Stills & Nash, Led Zeppelin in Cleveland, Simon & Garfunkel, They Might Be Giants, Barenaked Ladies, The James Gang (with Joe Walsh), Styx, Rush, (I know I'm forgettin' a bunch... illegal substance abuse will do that to ya!)...
The loudest must have been my front-row seats at Ozfest in 2000 at Polaris Ampitheater. 11 hrs of hard, loud rock---3 days to have my hearing only partially restored. After a week, I was back to hearing normal. Golly! Those were the days, eh?
