2.3 cobra

Hi folks, just rebuilt my 2.3 cobra and couldnt get it to spark, after following the troubleshooting in the adults section i now have a spark, hats off to the guys that made that post, very god job

now i have a problem boat has been sitting for 4 yrs doing nothing, thats why i had to rebuild the engine. now i have it cranking over and now have new spark and all leads,spark plugs,coil,condenser,points, im having probs with it not starting,

any ideas?

Is it getting gas? Is the timing right? Since you rebuilt it, is the valve timing right, is the distributor installed right, not 180 out?

yeah getting gas ok, had the timing done by someone so hopefully its right lol

im gonna replace the fuel 2morrow maybe i should have done that before

is their any threads on how i can set up my timing and points and stuff, just incase i need to do it make sure its ok?

ok checked all the timing and put fresh fuel in the boat today,

not starting.. any ideas anyone?

Ayuh,... It takes Fuel, Fire, Compression, All at the right Time...

You're Missing 1 of the 4....
