2.5L 120hp compression?

what should the compression be in a 1978 2.5L 120hp. My compression reads between 120-125 for all four cylinders. Is this kinda low, what would a new one read? I know my variance is good between cylinders but will I be down on power with compression only in the 120's??

Did you do the test with the engine warm and the throttle fully open?

My manual indicates 140 so you're not too far off.

Engine is warm but throttle is not fully open, does full throttle really make a big difference?

It's the only way to get a good reading.

With those readings. Just put some gas in the tank and go enjoy the boat ride.
