2.8 Merc Dtronic Oil drain hose inside diameter??

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone is able to tell me what the inside diameter/bore of the engine oil drain pipe is on my engine. The one that runs up the side of the engine and has a brass cap on top. I'm looking to manufacture an oil suction type fitting and pump system at work, and forgot to measure the bore!! It's 2.8 Dtronic Mercruiser.
