I am taking off my 1994 90 Hp Johnson.Is there a lift ring to lift the motor with or how would you do it? Also how do you separate the controls from the mount it is on? Thanks for your input.
That should be a crossflow. The best method is to use the lift ring that bolts to the flywheel. As for the control, it depends on which control box it is and what it's mounted on.
Is this lift ring on the flywheel or do I have get one?
The control is on a sidemount board.Looks like it needs to split front and back.I see the handle is splined but it is not wanting to come apart.I just wanted to make sure that is how it came apart before I put some muscle into it.
