Well here's the deal.... My brother owns a scooter, and he rides the thing like crazy, till it just suddenly broke down. Seeing is how alot of guys on here are two stroke masters, I thought I'd give this site a shot. It's a standard air cooled 2 stroke, I believe 31cc if I'm not mistake exactly like a string trimmer motor just mounted a differnt way. Here's the deal. We attempted to start the motor after it sitting all winter with no luck. We checked it out, and thought the spark plug might need changed. We changed it, and got just a little hint of a start. Just a little hit or two, espically right after it sits for awhile. If you try and start it and leave it for 20 minuets and come back you can get that hit. It won't run though, it seems to be flooded, the spark plug is soaked. Its a new carburator, brand new. The fuel in the tank is brand new, and if fuel is introduced to the cylinder via the carburator throat it does the same thing, it just hits and attempts to start. It gets good spark outside the motor, but could the excess fuel being sent to the combustion chamber be putting out the spark? Need some suggestions to even start with... Thanks
