20 hp. Chrysler outboard motor

I recently bought a 16ft. fishing boat with an OLD (70's ?) Chrysler 20 hp outboard on it. The pull rope is gone and I can't even figure out how to open the top of the motor cover!!! No screws, clamps? Does ANYONE know how to get this cover off so I can replace the pull rope?!!!Thanks...

Keith. Right at the front of the motor is a lever that you swing around and the cover then lifts from the front
