I have a older mid 70's merc (200) 20hp sn# 4019964 mod# is scratched off I think it's about a 77-ish anyway it had orange colored coils and one was cracked bad but still worked the other did not fire & was also all cracked , so i had some blue coils that came off a much larger 4 or 6 cylinder motor & put them in the coil brackets and they fire a good 7/16 spark checker, so is this ok ? or mite it mess with the other electrical stuff like switch box trigger etc. will it be ok to try and run this motor with the blue coils. I hate to spend much on this one as shes a bit ruff/salty and I don't know yet what else it may need. thanks
