20 hp Spirit water pump

Hi guys,
New here and would appreciate some help.

I have a 1972 20 hp Spirit outboard. I have done some looking on the net and found that company that manufactured them went out of business.

I am looking for a water impellar for this motor and with calling local marina's around here and all of them say that they aren't 100% sure if the impellar for a DT20 will work or not. I would like to order the parts required and then tear into the motor to fix it but if need be I can rip it apart to see what it looks like and go from there.

Any help with finding the correct parts is greatly appreciated.

It was distributed by Artic (I think) before Suzuki distributed under their own name. Great little engines ... the only advice I can give you is to contact www.brownspoint.com, maybe they can help, or to take out the impellar and take it to a marine store to match it with a similar one, or you can spend alot of money and get an engineering place to mold you a new one ......
