Recently purchased this engine, never dealt with a VRO before--does anyone know the proper oil to use for this motor? Also is their anything I need to know about this motor, anything to watch out for?
TCW-3 oil. 60 degree loop charged block. WOT range 4500 - 5500. How old is the impeller? What condition is the gear oil? What are compression readings on the cylinders
Not sure how old the impeller is, it spit water pretty good when I put the muffs on it in the driveway. Planning on draining the gear oil and replacing it before I put her in the water. Compression was 140 on the cylinders.
