2000 Capri 1950 thoughts

I am looking at a Capri 1950 with a 3.0 L. I have no experience with this, but my buddy tells me I will have a hard time pulling a slalom skier of any size out of the water. I would appreciate some expert advice from experience.

The boat is a bit big for a 3.0. That said, if the engine is in good mechanical condition and the boat is in good condition, you can make it work. Smart tabs or a good hydrofoil for the outdrive will get the boat to pop right up on plane making it much easier to get a slalom skier up.
