2000 Johson 50hp "performance" Reeds

Does any one know if there are any companies making perfomance reeds for the 2000 Johnson 50 hp 2 cyclinder? I know boyesen makes some for the older one but i couldn't find any for the newer models on there site.Are they worth putting in if i do find some? I know perforance and 50hp shouldn't be used in the same sentence but thats the motor i have and its in really good shape and i'm just looking for a little more out of it.Thanks for the help guys!!

Actually I always found the 50 a strong running motor, if on an suitable boat. The fiber reeds will only give you a little feeling of better throttle response. A better set up will make the motor perform at its best and is often quite surprising. Do a search on setup here. Find the ideal hight on transom and best propeller, often big surprices are hidden there.
