I added fliud a few months ago , the car again needs brake fluid, it had not been used since I brought it in Sept of this year, looks like fluid leaked from right front tire, could this be a bad brake caliper, I want to give it to her for christmas, anyhelp anyone Thanks!

The answer is yes it may be a leaking caliper or the supply line going to it. Has the car received any hard knocks to the right front tire area? You can jack the car up and remove the tire and then apply the brakes to see where the fluid is coming from for sure. If fluid has contaminated the brake pads I would have the pads on both front wheels replaced to insure even braking. Also these cars are prone to give brake noise so be sure to get the correct replacement pads if needed.

Has it been driven alot since the fluid was checked months ago?

As the brakes wear the fluid level will change in the cylinder. Many service customers come in and state they are low on fluid and in reality they are low on pads.

I would check it out in detail if it was going to my child....... to rebuild a caliper is fairly easy.

thanks for the replys, the has not been on the road since I brought it for her in Sept, I did check the master cylinder awhile back and It was low so I added the fluid, It has not been driven since, so I check it today and it is low, I look closely and it looks like the passenger front tire is wet on the lower inside of the tire, so I am thinks something is leaking!

Take the wheel off and look. You will be able to see the leak.
If not, have someone apply the brakes and I'm sure you will see it.

Pull the wheel get at her,if it is the cailiper or flex line don't overlook replacing the compression washers on the banjo bolt{where caliper and flex hose attach},play close attention to get the right size and THICKNESS of these washers is very important, ethier problem you will have to replace them,so don't forget them when you pick up your parts needed

Ok so i replaced both brake calipers, so far no more leaks, I will continue to keep a check on it for awhile since my daughter will be driving now! I can not believe she is driving I remember it seems like yesterday when I took her to see the disney movies, ie; beauty and the beast/ lion king etc! Time flys by the older you get, but she will always be my little girl!

I would be sure that no one has put something in the fluid system that has ruined the seals.( a gasoline additive for example ) If it is contaminated the entire system will have to be cleaned or replaced........You need to jack the car up and remove both front wheels and do a very close inspection at this point.
