I have a 2000 21 ft open bow with a mercruiser 8 cyl. After running for some time and going back to idle it will vapor lock and I have to remove the fuel filter and fill it with gas before start, Does anyone have a fix for this.
Almost impossible to vapor lock a boat fuel system. It doesn't get that hot. Much more likely you have either a fuel line leak between filter and tank, sucking air, or you have something plugged up.
