My motor starts great idles and at about 1000 rpm. Then I put in gear and throttle up and cruise for about ten minutes at about 3500 rpms runs great while cruising at 3500 rpm. then i throttle down to a idle. at this point the idle is at 750 rpm in nuetral . when i put it back in gear the motor stalls. it wont restart unless I Prime it (with electric motor primer not the primer bulb) then the idle is at 750-800 rpm when i put back in gear it stalls again.
It only does this when the boats in the water. i replaced all the fuel lines, primer bulb, water separator, cleaned the carb, all new carb gaskets, and checked the timing plugs spark plugs are clean. this problem only happens when motor is warmed up and in the water. anybody got any ideals

Do you check your carb settings timing settings(8degré idle) ? if idle screw setup (1.5tr)up is to lean you stall at acceleration

750 rpm at idle is low in neutral? i ve the same motor in theory you must have 750 -800 in forward speed.

my motor doesnt like to be under 1000 rpm in forward speed under this the motor sounds a bit rough.

i ve never solve this i check en re check timing /idle mixture screw nothing to do the motor is very rough at 750 in forward speed!

so i put forward speed at 850-900 in forward low speed, it's a little bit better!
